The Role

- Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards.

- Mark out steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards.

- Cut, notch, drill, ream, shape and form steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards.

- Fit up and adequately tack weld steel components with correct dimensions, edge preparations, weld preparations, weld gaps and to tolerance indicated in engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards.

- Fit required lifting lugs, bracing, supports aids to ensure integrity of steel component when moving or rotating with gantry cranes.





- Perform welding techniques including, but not limited to, MMAW, FCAW, MIG

With in-house detailing, a fully equipped workshop and complete site capabilities, RMF Fabrication can manufacture and install most works from urgent requirements to medium sized structural steel projects.

The proprietors have been working in the Western Australian steel manufacturing sector for over 30 years and also have experience in up-market overseas projects.

Situated in Maddington, the business is ideally situated to service both North and South of the river as well as regional areas.
