Boodjara is seeking experienced FIFO Electricians to join a major Shutdown at BHP Port Hedland (Finucane Island).
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile shutdown with the potential for ongoing project opportunities.
Project Details
- Mobilisation: From 14 September 2026
- Shutdown: 17 September – 5 November 2026
- Location: BHP Port Hedland – Finucane Island
- Roster: 2:1 FIFO
- Shifts: 12-hour Days & Nights
- Flights, accommodation and meals provided
- Weekly pay
Scope of Work
- Electrical construction and installation
- Cable installation and terminations
- MCC and switchboard works
- Equipment upgrades and replacements
- Testing and commissioning support
- Shutdown maintenance activities
Essential Requirements
- Australian Work Rights
- Australian Driver's Licence
- Electrical Trade Certificate
- WA Electrical Licence
- White Card
- Current LVR/CPR
- Basic Fire
- Working at Heights
- WAIO Secure Work on Low Voltage
- WAIO Arc Flash Hazard and PPE
- High Risk Work Licence – EWP (desirable)
- Previous BHP experience highly regarded
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol Screen and complete online inductions
