Osborne Park

Joyce Corporation is a fast-growing ASX-listed company invested in quality Australian businesses, including Bedshed and Kitchen Connection, that help Australians add value to their greatest asset, the family home. Joining Joyce means working alongside supportive, capable and commercially minded people who value clear communication, good intent, respectful challenge and doing the right thing, for the right reason, the right way.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Executive Assistant to work closely with and directly support the CEO. This is broader than a traditional personal assistant role and will suit either an experienced EA looking for greater exposure, or a capable, high-potential person ready to grow into a more senior support role.

You will take ownership, read the room, manage a high-volume inbox, identify key issues early and help the CEO stay focused on the right priorities while developing through close CEO exposure, trusted responsibility and practical work that shapes an ASX-listed business.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role at the centre of a highly collaborative team. You will work closely with the CEO on email flow, priorities, meetings and follow-up actions, while building a practical understanding of executive leadership, corporate operations, governance, investor engagement and selected ASX-related activity. Whether you bring direct EA experience or transferable capability from a fast-paced support role, demonstrating initiative and curiosity, whilst having the confidence to seek clarity will help you keep matters moving as your context and capability grow.

At the core of this role is proactive email, diary and priority management. You will read correspondence carefully, identify the key issue, connect matters to relevant prior emails or commitments, and determine what needs attention, delegation, action or response.

The CEO is committed to providing context, guidance and feedback so the right person, whether experienced or developing, can build trust, judgement and confidence in the role.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage the CEO’s inbox and outbox, identifying key issues, priorities, risks, links to prior correspondence, and recommended actions or draft responses.

· Maintain clear priority and action lists for the CEO and EA, ensuring emails, verbal requests, meeting actions and stakeholder commitments are tracked and progressed.

· Coordinate the CEO’s diary, meetings and events, including scheduling, logistics, materials and protected time for priorities and follow-ups.

· Assist with corporate-related activities, including governance support, corporate advisors, investor engagement and selected ASX-related requirements as experience develops.

· Liaise professionally and confidentially with the Board, Executive Team and internal and external stakeholders.

· Assist with clear, accurate documents, presentations, monthly reports and board materials as capability develops.

· Provide ad-hoc office and administrative support where required.

Role Requirements

· Experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar support role is valued, but not essential. Experience within an ASX-listed company is highly regarded but not required.

· Strong judgement, initiative, learning agility and the ability to manage competing priorities in a confidential environment.

- A high level of confidentiality,

discretion and professionalism

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to listen well, assume good intent, ask for clarity and engage in constructive discussion without judgement.

- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities

· Strong initiative, curiosity and confidence to progress stakeholder queries, email follow-ups and meeting actions without waiting for every step to be directed.

· Confidence using Microsoft Office, with the ability and willingness to keep improving Word, PowerPoint and document preparation skills.

· Confidence liaising at all levels. Familiarity with board-management tools is an advantage.

What’s on Offer?

· A dynamic role with direct exposure to the CEO, executive decision-making, corporate activities, governance, investor engagement and ASX-related matters.

· A genuine opportunity to learn, grow and develop in a supportive, high-trust environment.

· You will be trusted with meaningful work and supported to build confidence, context and capability over time.

· Practical benefits including on-site parking, an active social committee and access to an Employee Assistance Program for you and your family.

Ready to Apply?

If you bring initiative, curiosity, discretion, good intent and a genuine desire to keep improving, this is an opportunity to work directly with the CEO, be trusted with key work, build confidence and contribute to a team that listens, collaborates openly and strives to do the right thing for the right reason, the right way.

To apply, please submit your CV and Cover Letter via the Seek portal.

For any questions about the role, please contact Courtney O’Keeffe, Manager – People & Culture at ********@joycegroup.com.au.
