At Living Rooms, we don’t just manage properties, we manage communities.
As Perth’s leading co-living property management company, we do things differently by providing beautifully designed shared homes that bring people together.
Our systems, processes and approach are not traditional property management, so we train our team from the ground up to work the Living Rooms way.
We are looking for a dynamic, resilient and people-focused Trainee Property Manager to join our close-knit team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career or new to property management who is excited by structured training, real responsibility and long-term growth. Our homes are purpose-built for co-living by our sister company, The HMO Property Co, and are designed specifically for working professionals seeking affordable, high-quality shared living.
This role is as much about people management as it is property management, and you will be trained to confidently manage relationships with housemates, owners and contractors while supporting a high standard of service and community culture.
The role is based out of our Elizabeth Quay office and will involve assisting with the management of a portfolio of co-living homes within 25km of the Perth CBD, inspections, maintenance coordination, leasing support, renewals, arrears management, system administration, and working closely with our admin and leadership team.
We are looking for someone who is organised, emotionally intelligent, confident with systems, open to feedback and genuinely interested in building a career in property management.
A WA property management registration is preferred but not essential, as training and support will be provided.
A valid WA driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are required.
In return, we offer comprehensive training, a 9-day fortnight with every second Friday off, (once fully qualified as a property manager) a modern SCBD office, laptop, phone and fuel card, robust admin support, clear career progression, and the opportunity to grow within a purpose-led, high-performing and supportive team.
This role is not suited to someone who resists change, wants to coast, or is only interested in ticking boxes rather than contributing to a strong team culture.
