Oracle Technical Specialist

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Oracle Technical Specialist to join a high-performing project team delivering enhancements and integration across an Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP workplace.

This role will see you working closely with Finance, Business Applications, Enterprise Architecture and external delivery partners to support, optimise and modernise Oracle Financials. You'll play a key role across technical support, system enhancements, integrations, data migration and solution delivery, ensuring critical finance systems remain secure, scalable and fit for future business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical administration, support and maintenance of Oracle Financials applications.
- Configure and support Oracle Fusion Financials modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Procurement and related finance modules.
- Design, develop and maintain integrations between Oracle Financials and enterprise applications using APIs, web services and Oracle integration technologies.
- Develop technical solutions using SQL, PL/SQL, interfaces, workflows and reporting tools.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Support system enhancements through analysis, configuration, testing and deployment.
- Investigate and resolve application, integration and data-related issues.
- Support financial reporting and data extraction requirements.
- Perform data analysis,



mapping and migration activities from legacy systems into Oracle Fusion.
- Ensure solutions align with security, governance and enterprise architecture standards.
- Produce technical documentation, support procedures and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams and vendors throughout the full solution lifecycle.

Skills & Experience
Essential

- Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
- 8+ years' experience supporting Oracle Financials in a technical role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Finance.
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
- Experience developing Oracle integrations using APIs, web services and integration technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials modules including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Oracle Time & Labour (OTL)
- Project Costing & Billing

- Experience troubleshooting complex Oracle application and integration issues.
- Strong understanding of finance processes and Oracle Financials best practice.
- Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), testing and change management.
- Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end Oracle solutions, from requirements gathering through to configuration, enhancement and BAU support.
- Demonstrated experience analysing, mapping and migrating data into Oracle applications while ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
