We are a well established and growing print business in Fyshwick. We have an opportunity for a delivery driver to join our experienced team. The successful applicant will become an integral part of our operations and service team, critical to support our focus on customer delivery.
This role requires the applicant to have a customer service focus, be able to help deliver prompt, accurate and efficient delivery service.
The role involves the following responsibilities: -
- Maintain a high level of customer service and communication
- Ensuring all orders are organised for delivery
- Delivery runs are efficient and on time.
- Strong knowledge of ACT and surrounding areas
- Be able to work independently
- Display a superior commitment to safety
To be eligible for this position you must be punctual, willing to learn, flexible with your day-to-day duties,
and must have the following:
- Demonstratable customer service skills
- Current ACT Driver's Licence with a good transparent record
- The ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Communicate clearly and have a positive can-do attitude
- Have good attention to detail
- Unload and load the van in a safe and timely manner, incorporating hand unload and pallet jack work
- Multi-stop pickups and deliveries
- Ensure all freight is scanned, accounted and paperwork completed as required
- Be part of a proactive safety culture and participate in all safety initiatives
