Full Time Night Manager Salary $75,000 - $80,000 5 world class wine regions within an hour and winemakers available to share their personal experiences one on one, the worlds largest surviving koala population in the wild, natural Artesian spring fed hot pools on the side of Mount Lofty, and of course the sharing of our story here starting with the oldest surviving culture going through Arthur Hardy's gatsby-esque years of celebration to today - all on a long table with a glass of Adelaide Hills red, complete with campfire on the valley rim at sunset, surrounded by kangaroos and wallabies.

And that’s just day one. Sequoia Lodge focuses on money can't buyn behind the scenes experiences in our beautiful region. These will centre around our brand pillars of food and wine, nature, wellness and history.

Guests will come from all over the world, and initially from around the country seeking experiences that simply aren't available anywhere else in the world. Also on Mount Lofty Estate sits the iconic manor Mount Lofty House was the most awarded hotel in Australia in 2019 and #1 hotel in South Australia according to Tripadvisor and the Australian Hotel Association Awards. Add a 3 Chef Hat restaurant, vineyards, 30 acres of gardens, day spa and cocktail bar, all perched on Mount Lofty Summit, only 15 minutes from Adelaide CBD and it simply sounds too good to be true.

Our estate requires a Night Manager to assist in the overnight operations of both Sequoia Lodge and Mount Lofty House. These operations will be overnight focused on the night audit task list, in addition to reception, in room dining, and public area cleaning in the lodge and at Mount Lofty House. This role will work as part of the larger Mount Lofty Estate team reporting to the Assistant Lodge Manager,



and working closely with other key department heads in the delivery of excellence.

Our Night Manager will have direct responsibility for: Ensure the safety and security of the property and the smooth and effective running of the estate’s overnight operation Effectively manage the daily reconciliation details of the estate’s trading

Conduct the night audit and oversee financial controls such as revenue auditing, account payable, and credit card transactions. Collaborate with hotel management to monitor financial performance, identify discrepancies, and implement improvements. Effective coordination and supervision of all guest arrivals and departures

Cleaning the lodge reception and lounge bar areas Support the night cleaner in their role cleaning all other areas of the hotel Effectively communicate with all departments of the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction is consistently achieved

Utilise the Front Office PMS to meet operational needs and produce accurate reports Deliver outstanding service to guests of Mount Lofty House and Sequoia taking care of any requests during the shift Prepare and deliver in room dining to guests overnight.

You will have the following: Previous leadership experience in a similar environment In depth knowledge of Front Office standards and procedures

Authentic customer service, interpersonal & communication skills & be flexible in your approach Impeccable grooming and presentation Excellent organisation and time management

Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite Experience with a PMS - Protel or Opera preferred but not essential Available to work weekdays and weekends including shift work
