We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer – Process & Quality to join our Gillman team. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will work closely with production to improve manufacturing processes, solve problems, support quality systems and help us continue to improve the way we operate.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work across engineering, production and quality to support the delivery of safe, productive and high-quality manufacturing outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting manufacturing process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Investigating production issues and identifying practical engineering solutions
- Developing and maintaining work instructions, procedures and manufacturing documentation
- Supporting our ISO 9001 Quality Management System and internal audits
- Conducting root cause investigations and supporting corrective actions
- Support the engineering change processes
- Working with production teams to improve quality, efficiency and productivity
- Supporting product costing and manufacturing improvements
- Assisting with new product introduction into manufacturing
- Working with customers and suppliers on technical and quality matters where required
About You
You do not need to know everything. We are looking for someone practical, curious and willing to get involved.
Ideally, you will have:
- Supporting manufacturing process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Investigating production issues and identifying practical engineering solutions
- Developing and maintaining work instructions, procedures and manufacturing documentation
- Supporting our ISO 9001 Quality Management System and internal audits
