About the Role

If you're a HD Fitter who values well-maintained equipment and a properly resourced workshop, this is an chance to join a maintenance team that's set up to succeed.

Our underground fleet includes modern Sandvik development and production rigs, load and haul equipment, Normet charge rigs, Volvo ITs and ancillary underground mining equipment, providing exposure to a diverse and technically advanced fleet.

We operate from a purpose-built six-bay steel workshop complete with overhead cranes and a service pit, supported by a dedicated maintenance store carrying more than $4 million in parts and consumables. With separate light vehicle and boilermaker facilities located nearby, we've invested heavily in our maintenance infrastructure so you can focus on quality maintenance and continuous improvement – not chasing parts or working around limitations.

Beyond our main operation, satellite deposits across the Plutonic Gold Belt are creating opportunities to broaden your experience, contribute to the development of new maintenance practices and support a growing underground operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs on underground mobile mining equipment

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic faults across the underground fleet

- Maintain and repair Sandvik development and production drills, load and haul equipment,



Normet charge rigs, Volvo ITs and ancillary mining equipment

- Complete scheduled maintenance inspections and component change-outs

- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability programs

- Work closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to maximise equipment availability

- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with site safety standards, procedures and legislative requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Relevant Australian recognised Heavy Duty Diesel Fitting Trade Qualification

- Previous experience maintaining underground mining equipment

- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capability

- Quality workmanship and attention to detail

- Strong commitment to safety and team-based work

- Ability to work autonomously and work to plan

- Current WA C-Class Driver's Licence

- Current Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)

Desirable

- Tyre fitting qualifications

- Experience working on Sandvik underground equipment

- Experience maintaining underground load and haul equipment, drill rigs and ancillary fleet





- Experience working within a computerised maintenance management system

- Exposure to technically complex underground mining environments
