Retail Sales Assistant (Casual – 38 Hours per Week)

STIHL SHOP PAYNEHAM is a proudly family-owned business that has been serving Adelaide since 2006. We specialise in the sales, service and repair of premium outdoor power equipment and have built our reputation on providing expert advice and outstanding customer service.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join our team.

About the Role

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be working with both our retail and workshop teams to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience.

Your duties will include:

- Providing exceptional customer service and product advice.

- Assisting customers with retail sales and enquiries.

- Booking customer machines into the workshop for servicing and repairs.

- Processing sales through our point-of-sale system.

- Assembling new outdoor power equipment.

- Starting and testing new machines prior to customer collection.

- Receiving, checking and unpacking stock deliveries.

- Replenishing shelves and maintaining attractive product displays.

- Keeping the showroom clean, organised and well presented.

- Working closely with our workshop team to ensure efficient customer service.

About You





To be successful in this role you will have:

- Previous retail and customer service experience (preferred).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Basic computer skills.

- A willingness to learn about outdoor power equipment.

- The ability to lift and move stock when required.

- A current driver's licence (essential).

- Availability to work 38 hours per week, including Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
