About the Role

Bennco Group is seeking an Estimator to estimate and tender on mining construction works across the Pilbara and remote WA.

Location: Balcatta, Perth (parking available) - with site travel as required for estimating purposes

Role Requirements

- Experience with tendering processes from preparation, analysis, submission and clarifications

- Prepare detailed and competitive tender estimates, budgets, cost plans, and take-offs

- Collaborate with design teams, clients, and delivery teams to ensure tender alignment across all project phases

- Ensure effective handover of awarded tenders to Operations and ongoing communication with clients

- Proven experience in tendering and estimating for mining, building and construction projects

- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

- Identify and manage cost-specific risks, opportunities, and value management strategies

- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and WA market rates

- Strong subcontractor and supplier engagement skills

- High level of commercial acumen and contract knowledge

About you

- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (preferred)

- Minimum 3 years estimating experience within the construction sector or similar





- Solid understanding of construction techniques and market conditions

- Proficiency in estimating software such as Simpro, Procore, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project

- Proficiency in client platforms such as Ariba, Aconex & EstimateOne (desirable)

- Exceptional communication, time management and problem-solving skills

- Proven ability to ‘think outside the box' and deliver results in high-pressure environments and work both autonomously and collaboratively
