About the role

Statesman Windows is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Showroom Sales Representative to join our team at our Cheltenham showroom. This is a full-time position based in Cheltenham, SA 5014, where you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for showcasing our premium window and door products to potential customers, providing expert advice, and converting enquiries into sales. This role is essential to our continued growth and success in the local market.

What you'll be doing

1. Welcoming customers to the showroom and providing a warm, professional first impression

2. Demonstrating our range of windows, doors and related products, highlighting their features, benefits and quality

3. Assessing customer needs and preferences to recommend suitable products and solutions

4. Providing accurate information about pricing, specifications, warranties and installation processes

5. Preparing quotations and processing customer orders efficiently

6. Building strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals

7. Maintaining the showroom to ensure it is clean, well-organised and visually appealing

8. Recording customer information and sales data accurately in our systems

9. Collaborating with the wider sales and delivery teams to ensure smooth customer experiences

10. Keeping up to date with product knowledge and industry trends

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in a sales representative or customer-facing sales role, ideally within the home improvement or building sector.

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers

3. A genuine enthusiasm for sales and a track record of achieving or exceeding targets

4.



Excellent product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn and retain detailed product information

5. Professional presentation and appearance with a commitment to excellent customer service

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment

7. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

8. Proficiency with computer systems and sales software

9. Valid driving licence (preferred)

10. A passion for the windows and doors industry or building/construction sector (desirable)
