Due to continued growth, SA Steelworks is seeking motivated and reliable people to join our team. We have multiple positions available for immediate start on a range of commercial and industrial structural steel projects throughout South Australia.
Positions Available
Boilermaker Apprentice (Minimum 1 Year Experience)
We're seeking apprentices who have already commenced their apprenticeship and have at least one year's experience in the structural steel industry.
Requirements:
- Minimum one (1) year completed in a Boilermaker/Fabrication apprenticeship.
- Genuine commitment to completing your trade.
- Robust work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings.
- Driver's licence preferred.
Structural Steel Welder – Workshop
We're looking for experienced workshop welders to join our growing team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in structural steel welding.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Ability to produce high-quality welds in accordance with Australian Standards.
- Strong commitment to quality and workplace safety.
Onsite Structural Steel Installers / Boilermakers
Join our onsite team working on commercial and industrial construction projects throughout South Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Install and erect structural steel on commercial construction projects.
- Read and interpret marked plans and fabrication drawings.
- Carry out bolting, alignment and installation of structural steel components.
- Work safely and efficiently with project managers and site supervisors.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in structural steel installation and erection.
- Boilermaker trade qualification or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- White Card (essential).
- Current driver's licence (essential).
- EWP, Working at Heights, Dogging or Rigging tickets.
