Availability to work on site the set days of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday is essential for this position.
About the Role
The Glynde Garage is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team 3 days per week. This position is suited to an experienced accounts professional who can confidently manage day-to-day financial operations within a business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Processing Superannuation weekly
- Data entry and reconciliation
- Bank reconciliations
- Debt collection and follow-up of outstanding accounts
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with month-end reporting
- Budget Analysis
- Working closely with Management and Managing Directors
- Liaising with external accountants
About You
- At least 3 years experience in a similar finance or bookkeeping role
- Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable processes
- Advanced level proficiency in MYOB AccountRight is required (no other MYOB package will suffice, please do not apply if you do not have the required software experience)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, particularly for debt collection
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Australian work rights are required for this position
