About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and cost-effective management of production and supply, ensuring products are manufactured to customer requirements and delivered within agreed timeframes.

Key responsibilities:

- Leading and developing the production team and day-to-day manufacturing operations;
- Driving continuous improvement and operational performance initiatives;
- Implementing and maintaining 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles;
- Managing production schedules, resources, labour and equipment;
- Monitoring and improving KPIs across safety, quality, delivery, lead times and efficiency;
- Ensuring products meet required quality and customer standards;
- Managing production paperwork, processes and manufacturing standards;
- Supporting purchasing and inventory management activities;
- Overseeing monthly stocktakes and maintaining accurate stock levels;
- Ensuring machinery, tools and equipment are maintained and compliant;
- Leading daily toolbox meetings and promoting a strong safety culture;
- Coordinating transport and dispatch requirements;
- Providing technical guidance and support to factory employees; and
- Working closely with senior management and internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

- Proven experience in a Production Manager or similar manufacturing leadership role;
- Experience managing and developing production teams;
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement;
- Experience managing production planning, quality, safety and operational KPIs;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities;
- Excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills;
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
- Experience within manufacturing,



construction or a similar industrial environment; and
- A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work closely with the factory team.
