Quantity Surveyor – Wollongong
We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a 2-month contract based in Wollongong.
This is an excellent prospect for a detail-oriented QS who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment and has strong cost management and administration skills.
About the Role
As the Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for managing project cost capture using a client-supplied database. This is a cost-reimbursable contract, so accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cost capture using the client-supplied database.
- Record and verify labour times, rates, plant, and material costs.
- Ensure all cost information is accurately entered and maintained.
- Prepare and submit daily cost reports to the client.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
About You:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of cost management and cost reporting.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet daily reporting deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and database systems.
