The Montauk Lighting Co. is a boutique lighting consultancy and retailer that brings an exquisite selection of global designer feature lighting to Australia for residential, hospitality and commercial projects.

From our Perth-based studio, our team collaborates with industry and retail clients Australia-wide to source feature lighting and create beautifully illuminated and decorated spaces.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our studio as Client Experience Coordinator for a fixed twelve (12) month period.

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and service-minded Client Experience Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our sales, inventory and logistics functions while ensuring the smooth, efficient running of our office and studio.

Working across all areas of the business, you’ll lay the foundation for an exceptional client experience from the time an order is placed through to installation and beyond.

You will warmly handle telephone calls, direct clients to appropriate team members, meet and greet clients at our studio and assist with hosting.

You’ll play a key role in overseeing orders, keeping clients informed abut their orders and assisting with after-care support.



You will be responsible for maintaining CRM records and inventory systems to track each order through to completion. Working with the Operations and Quality Control Teams, you’ll also coordinate deliveries and couriers, prepare packing slips and care packages and manage customer care communications.

You’ll take care of managing supplies and provisions, liaising with service providers and ensuring the studio is always beautifully presented. You’ll also coordinate internal meetings, training sessions and social events, and support the planning and delivery of client events throughout the year.

To succeed in this role, you will bring at least two years’ experience in an administrative role within a high-end retail or professional services setting, and combine that with:

- A collegiate approach, willing to work collaboratively and respectfully with the team, clients and contractors.

- Impeccable presentation and decorum.

- High attention to detail and clear,



effective written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel.

- Experience with Xero and Cin7/DEAR Inventory or similar inventory systems (desirable).

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage competing priorities.

- Familiarity with office operations and record-keeping.

- Good time management and organisation skills.

- A flexible, adaptable attitude and willingness to take initiative.
