Safeguard Insurance Solutions is a West Australian insurance broker with nearly 30 years of industry experience. We work with small to medium businesses and complex commercial clients across a broad range of lines – from public and products liability through to professional indemnity, management liability, cyber, transport, and specialty risks.

THE ROLE

As a Junior Broker, you'll manage a portfolio of clients, provide end-to-end broking support, and help us identify new business opportunities. You'll get a genuine mix of work: client management, relationship building, claims handling, market placement, and business development.

This role will suit a driven individual stepping up from an assistant-level position who's ready to take on more responsibility and build real expertise across commercial insurance lines.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone with:

Tier 1 Broking (Diploma highly desired or the willingness to undertake)

Previous experience in insurance broking or financial services – exposure to commercial or specialty lines a real plus

Claims Experience able to manage claims end to end

Strong platform knowledge (e.g. INSIGHT and Sunrise) and a solid grasp of industry regulations

Genuine interpersonal skills – you're comfortable building client relationships, negotiating terms,



and working through problems

Proactive and organised – you can manage competing priorities, spot opportunities, and take initiative

Tech-competent – proficient in Microsoft Office and happy to pick up new business software

A true team player – you collaborate well, contribute ideas, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where things aren't always by the book
