Situated in Lilydale, a region known for its scenic riding, unique restaurants, cafes and wineries, is First Class Motorcycles. And we have a brilliant opportunity for a Service Manager within our business.

We specialise in Yamaha, Husqvarna, KTM and MV Agusta: providing all facets of spare parts and accessories, new and used motorcycles and a service department. This is an exciting role in a local, family-owned and independent business, with a fully equipped workshop.

The Role:

*Work closely with the Dealer Principal to ensure successful operation of the service department

*Manage all day-to-day operations in a busy workshop

*Ensure workshop is operating at optimum capacity and KPI's are achieved

*Liaise with the Parts Manager to ensure timelines are met

*Provide best possible customer service at all times whilst leading a team of technicians

*Schedules and assign jobs and work areas to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledge





*Review work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing

*Ensure all departmental tools, equipment and vehicles are in good working order

*Manage recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position.

Hours include:

8.30am - 5,00pm Monday to Thursday

8.00am - 5.00pm Friday

9.00am - 1.00pm Saturday

About You:

*Experience in Service Manager or Advisory role in automotive or motorcycles

*Exceptional customer service and people management skills

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Technical knowledge and the ability to interpret

*Reliable and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic able to motivate and support your team

*Passionate about motorcycles

*Business acumen
