Position: Fleet Operations Officer|
Salary starting from: Level 3.1 $81,575 per annum - Level 4.1 $89,329 + Super
Location: Marsden City Fleet Workshop
About the role
The City Fleet Branch is looking to hire a Fleet Operations Officer to provide high level customer service in the provision of Plant and equipment allocations, vehicle and plant maintenance enquires along with workshop stores and fleet equipment support.
Position Responsibilities will include:
- The provision of high-level customer service in the provision of plant allocation, vehicle and plant breakdown, repairs and enquires.
- Responsible for all Plant Fleet Services customer enquiries and the creation of relevant job cards to be distributed within the workshop for work to be allocated.
- To provide vehicle inductions and driver training services to PFS stakeholders, whilst ensuring the best value for Council is maintained.
- Liaise with Customers, gathering required details for workshop job creation requests regarding breakdowns, equipment faults, warranties and repairs.
- Provide support to the Fleet Operations Team Leader to document all audit and contractor engagement correspondence in accordance with Logan City Council's contract management framework.
- Deliver and undertake inductions for Plant Fleet Services business partners on the correct operation of plant and equipment.
- Establish and manage collaborative working relationships with staff across the organisation and conduct all business transactions in an ethical, friendly, efficient and professional manner.
- Coordinate, collaborate and liaise with external service providers and customers professionally.
About You:
- Have strong administration, customer service & communication skills,
- excellent attention to detail
- can effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- are self-motivated & show initiative, and
- enjoy working as part of a supportive team
Qualification, knowledge, skills, and experience
- Possession of a "C" Class Drivers Licence
- Possession of a Current General Safety Induction (Construction Industry Ticket)
- Certificate IV in Training and assessment or willing to obtain.
- A HR/HC Licence, Open class forklift licence and knowledge of the hire industry are all highly regarded for this position.
- Position includes rostered after hours on call duties.
- Highly developed communication skills (both written and verbal) with the to engage and communicate to diverse range of people in a tailored fashion.
