The Regional Manager North role is responsible for leading the overall performance of the North BCU Bank branch network, including growth and development of the business and driving sales and service excellence whilst operating within the organisations risk and compliance framework.

Reporting to the Head of Retail Banking Network, this position leads 5 Branch Managers and supports 5 branches across the Northern New South Wales region.

This is a Permanent, Full time position, that can be based in either the Brisbane or Coffs Harbour corporate offices and will require willingness to travel throughout the branch network.

Working as part of an inclusive and collaborative team your key responsibilities will include:

- Drive a culture of the service experience exceeding member expectations
- Ensure escalated member complaints are dealt with promptly and to the satisfaction of the member
- Engage appropriately with internal service providers to deliver optimal outcomes
- Ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables are achieved as per SLA’s/organisational benchmarks
- Overall responsibility for the sales outcomes of the area as outlined in the business plan and agreed KPI's
- Devise, develop and monitor success of LAM initiatives and activities.
- Lead the team to be engaged within a high-sales performance culture while ensuring member experience is prioritised
- Ensure organisational sales framework/sales techniques (Enrich) are embedded and maintained at a high level for maximum member and internal experiences
- Partner with Mobile Lending team to develop third party referral networks
- Preparation and management to business plans and budgets




- Management and development of team members and self to align with organisational objectives.
- Ensure all staff undertake, attend and pass training relevant to their role including on-line learning within the required time frame.

What will you bring?

- Significant experience in a management level retail banking role.
- Proven sales history operating within an agreed sales and service framework
- Knowledge of change management process
- Personal resilience and adaptability
- Strong leadership, ability to influence
- Strong coaching skills
- Strong decision-making ability.
- Proven & effective time management & coordination skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of banking products & services, procedures/processes and compliance requirements
- Certificate of Financial Services, or a related field desirable
