We’re currently looking for a reliable, experienced Cook / Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team and help us continue delivering consistently excellent food in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for running your own section and contributing to daily service and prep, while maintaining high standards across food quality, safety, and consistency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Running a section during service with confidence and efficiency
- Daily food preparation and cooking to a high standard
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and temperature controls
- Portioning and quality control
- Monitoring and maintaining kitchen equipment temperatures
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has 2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced pub or similar kitchen
- Holds a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or 3+ years’ experience in lieu)
- Can work independently and under pressure in a high-volume environment
- Takes pride in producing well-executed, consistent food
- Has strong organisation and communication skills
- Works well in a team and can help guide others when needed
- Is solutions-focused, proactive, and calm during service
- Holds a Food Handling Certificate
- Is available for nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Has full working rights in Australia
