The Opportunity
As General Manager, People, you will join the ATCO Australia Executive Team and lead the organisation's People strategy and function for the organisation. Reporting to the CEO and Country Chair, with an informal reporting line to the VP Human Resources in Canada, you will deliver enterprise wide impact that enables business performance and growth.

Working closely with the Executive Team and leaders across the business,



you lead a broad portfolio spanning strategic business partnering, employee and industrial relations, talent management & acquisition, leadership and organisational effectiveness, learning and capability, employee experience, psychosocial safety and inclusion.

Key priorities over the next 12 months include strengthening organisational readiness for future growth, enabling transformation and maturing the capability and service delivery model of the People function to maximise impact across the business.

As part of the global ATCO family, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in Canada to deliver enterprise-wide initiatives while shaping a local People strategy that reflects the needs of the Australian business.

The Person
To be successful you will bring senior HR leadership experience from a complex, operational environment ideally across resources, energy infrastructure, industrial services or a comparable regulated sector. You will have led teams through significant organisational or systems change and have a track record of lifting function capability and maturity.

You will be able to demonstrate commercial acumen and interpersonal maturity to operate credibly at an executive level, influencing and challenging in a cooperative, experienced leadership group.
