Alpine Dairy is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team in Myrtleford, VIC. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that our dairy products reach customers efficiently and safely. As a Warehouse Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the collection, transport, and delivery of goods whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. This position is essential to our operations, directly supporting our commitment to reliable and timely product distribution across the region.
What you'll be doing
- Operating and maintaining delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with all road regulations and company policies
- Loading, securing and unloading warehouse goods in an organised and efficient manner
- Delivering products to customers and distribution points whilst maintaining accurate delivery records
- Managing delivery schedules to ensure on-time arrivals and meeting customer expectations
- Maintaining clear and professional communication with warehouse staff, management and customers
- Adhering to health and safety protocols, including proper handling of dairy products and temperature-controlled goods
- Recording delivery confirmations and obtaining customer signatures as required
- Contributing to warehouse operations, including stock rotation and basic inventory management when not on deliveries
What we're looking for
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly regarding food handling and transport
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage multiple delivery routes efficiently
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and handle goods of varying weights regularly
- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining professional standards
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently whilst adhering to company protocols and procedures
- A clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it would be beneficial
