We're looking for an enthusiastic, impact-focused Program Manager who is passionate about building relationships and driving an integrated, sustainable and responsive service to help people access the services they need to thrive.

The Program Manager is suited to someone who enjoys people leadership and end-to-end program management through nurturing funding contract performance, stakeholder relationships, quality, and continuous improvement.

You shall be a key member of the Leadership Team and lead a diverse portfolio through championing culturally safe and professional service with patience, respect, and drive for excellence. With the goal of high-quality, integrated, sustainable and responsive service delivery you shall strengthen existing services and seek new programs, partnerships, and service initiatives.

About Us

The Midland Information Debt and Legal Advocacy Service (Midlas) is a not-for-profit Community Legal Centre with offices in Midland and Ellenbrook. We support people through our programs providing legal services, disability advocacy, financial wellbeing, tenancy advocacy and community engagement.

About the role

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated team player to join our team and work closely with all service areas to make a positive difference in our communities.

They will -

- Provide strategic and operational leadership across Disability Advocacy, Financial Wellbeing and Community Engagement programs.

- Ensure services are accessible, integrated, person-centred, trauma-informed and culturally protected.

- Monitor service demand, performance and emerging community needs and implement responsive operational improvements.

- Undertake workforce planning, recruitment, induction, performance development and professional supervision.

- Develop implementation plans, workflows, procedures, staffing arrangements, referral pathways and performance measures when required.

- Proactively identify new funding, partnership and service development opportunities aligned with the Midlas Strategic Plan and operational priorities.

Required Education/Licences/Certificates

- Current National Police Clearance (within 3 months)

- Current Working with Children Check

- Current NDIS Screening Check

- First Aid Certificate (desirable)

- Current unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle

Relevant Experience, Skills & Knowledge

- Demonstrated senior experience leading and managing multidisciplinary community service programs and teams.

- Strong people leadership skills, including supervision, coaching, performance management and workforce planning.

- Understanding of disability advocacy, financial wellbeing, community engagement,



legal assistance or related community service sectors is highly desirable.

- Proven experience managing government or philanthropic funding contracts, including performance monitoring, reporting and budget oversight.

- Demonstrated experience operationalising new programs, partnerships or service models from planning through to implementation.

- Ability to interpret service data, contractual requirements and community need to guide operational decisions and continuous improvement.

- High-level written and verbal communication skills, including reports, proposals, briefings and stakeholder presentations.

- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong computer literacy including intermediate skills across Microsoft Office 365, and the ability to learn new systems and platforms.

- Ability to travel throughout the Perth metropolitan area.
