Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer of transport equipment, custom motor body solutions and vehicle fit-outs. As leaders in their field, this established company has a reputation for delivering quality products and services to dealerships, fleet and commercial companies, and end-user networks (mining, industrial and government).

As the Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the Sales Manager to increase brand awareness and engagement across various sales channels. In addition, you will:

- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to expand the company's customer base - Hunter role
- Research and identify new business opportunities across several sales channels
- Promote the company's product range and custom solutions to new and existing customers
- Work with the internal sales team to produce quotes and tenders that align with customer requirements




- Work closely with the engineering, production and operations teams to ensure complex builds and customer delivery expectations are fulfilled on-time and on-budget
- Work with the sales manager to implement best practices across the sales and client management functions
- Record and update all client information in the CRM system
- Present weekly and monthly sales reports to the executive leadership team
- Attend industry and trade events to represent the company and brand

About You

- Proven business development and sales experience in vehicle modification, transport equipment or commercial fleet sectors
- 5+ years' business development and sales experience, with an understanding of solution sales or technical product sales techniques
- Strong relationship builder with excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with influencers and key decision-makers
- Ability to analyse sales data, drive results and manage pipeline opportunities
- Self-motivated, proactive and commercially minded with robust attention to detail
- Experience developing detailed quotes and tenders with BOMs will be highly regarded
