Jayco Caravanland is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our growing Service Department. This is a newly created role due to business growth and presents an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of recreational vehicles using the latest electrical technology.

About the Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on caravans and tow vehicles
- Install, configure, test and verify 12-volt electrical systems before customer handover.
- Installing batteries, lithium battery systems, solar panels, inverters, battery management systems and DC-DC chargers
- General automotive electrical repairs and maintenance
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
- Testing and commissioning completed installations
- Completing repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
- Working collaboratively with our Service team to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
About You
To be successful you will have:
- Trade qualification as an Automotive Electrician
- Experience working on passenger or light commercial vehicles
- Ability to interpret electrical wiring diagrams
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to secure work practices
Highly regarded but not essential:
- Caravan or RV industry experience
- Experience with trailer wiring and electric brake controller products is advantageous
- Experience with lithium battery systems, solar installations and inverters
- MR Licence
