As a Plant/Quarry Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of heavy machinery while contributing to the safe and efficient running of quarry operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy mobile plant including loaders, water carts, excavators, and dump trucksMonitor equipment performance and report faults or maintenance requirementsConduct pre-start checks and routine inspectionsPerform basic maintenance and housekeeping dutiesWork safely and adhere to all site safety procedures and regulationsAssist with general quarry operations as requiredMaintain production targets while ensuring quality standards are met
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience operating heavy machinery within a quarry, mining, construction, or industrial environmentDemonstrated experience operating loaders, excavators, dump trucks, water carts,
or similar equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsCommitment to workplace health and safetyReliable work ethic and strong communication skillsCurrent Australian Driver's LicenceAbility to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
