About the Role
WorkPac is seeking an Accounts Officer to join our client’s team in Mandurah. This role provides essential support across accounts and payroll functions while offering valuable learning and development opportunities within the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable / Receivable tasks
- End-to-end payroll processing using MYOB AccountRight
- Managing client billings and supplier payments
- Contractor payments and weekly site crew payroll
- Bank reconciliations and financial record management (electronic and hard copy)
- General bookkeeping duties and administrative support
- Ensuring compliance with company SOPs and policies
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience in bookkeeping and payroll beneficial
- High proficiency in MYOB AccountRight and MS Suite
- Current and valid Driver’s Licence
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks
- Understanding of EBAs
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Previous experience within construction or similar industries advantageous
