About the Role

Are you an excellent communicator who enjoys meeting new people? Do you value building and maintaining a strong sense of community? If so, Meals on Wheels SA needs you!

As Branch Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our incredible volunteers and ensuring the successful operation of our local branches. With the support of our Branch Support Officers, you will:

Assist branches in providing nutritious and well-presented meals to the community.
Ensure services comply with Meals on Wheels SA policies and procedures.
Supervise food safety programs, including adherence to procedures and documentation.
Train and support volunteers in the use of kitchen equipment and Standard Operating Procedures.
Assist with meal preparation, cooking, storage, and delivery in a timely and efficient manner.
Provide administrative assistance to ensure smooth branch operations.

What We’re Looking For





The ideal Branch Coordinator will:

Have strong supervisory skills – Able to coach, mentor, and support volunteers.
Build positive team relationships with volunteers, staff, and stakeholders.
Understand (or be willing to learn) Meals on Wheels SA operations.
Be highly organised – Strong coordination, time management, and logistics skills.
Prioritise and adapt to meet conflicting demands in a dynamic environment.
