This is General Practice is a private Practice located in Kambah, with a team of experienced specialist general practitioners who thrive on providing holistic and comprehensive care. We pride ourselves on offering ‘slow-paced’ medicine that offers patient-centered care, no matter how complex.

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly, welcoming Administration Team!

This is a casual position, with the ideal candidate available to work various shifts across a 5 day week.

TIGP Daily Duties:

Our daily duties include, but are certainly not limited to:

- Working collaboratively with the clinical team and fellow Receptionists to triage patients, ensuring that TIGP delivers time-appropriate care.

- Greeting and checking-in patients, and updating non-clinical data where appropriate.

- Billing exchanges, account reconciliation, and other financial duties.

- Assisting the clinical team in recalling patients, and handling patient requests.

- Efficiently and accurately taking messages across various mediums (phone, email, in-person) and communicating with the relevant team members to ensure the task is completed.

- Engaging with a diverse range of patients and professional contacts with sensitivity and discretion, while always upholding patient confidentiality an privacy.





- Basic administration duties - restocking, surface cleaning, data entry, start-of-day and end-of-day reconciliation tasks.

- A reliable and consistent person, capable of being a compassionate first-point-of-contact for the Practice.

- Someone with collaborative skills to work effectively within a team, and the initiative to also conduct tasks independently.

- An excellent communicator who will actively listen and build relationships with our wonderful patients.

- Someone who can work in a busy setting, has excellent attention to detail and maintains accuracy in all tasks.

- Computer literacy (Windows 10, Microsoft Suite), with knowledge of BestPractice or a similar Medical software system being a huge plus!
