About the Role

You'll inspect residential properties throughout the Perth metropolitan area, providing skilled, unbiased assessments for our clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out building and timber pest inspections across Perth.

- Completing comprehensive training, including nationally recognised Building Inspection and Timber Pest Inspection courses through our preferred Registered Training Organisation.

- Conducting thorough onsite inspections using our industry-leading inspection software.

- Preparing detailed, accurate and unbiased inspection reports.

- Submitting reports promptly following each inspection.

- Explaining inspection findings to clients in a professional and easy-to-understand manner.

- Maintaining the high standards and reputation WA Building Inspections is known for.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

- Current WA Registered Builder licence with a strong professional history.

- Current unrestricted driver's licence.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong computer and mobile technology skills.

- Excellent attention to detail.

- Outstanding time management and organisational skills.

- High level of integrity and professionalism.

- Ability to work independently.

- Good level of physical fitness.

- Professional presentation.

- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Highly Regarded

While not essential, the following would be advantageous:

- Previous experience conducting building inspections.

- Timber Pest Inspection qualification.

- General Building Inspector qualifications.

- Experience preparing qualified reports.

- Knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.
