The opportunity:Radian Architecture is a growing 100% indigenous owned practice, delivering complex projects across government, health, education and community sectors. We’re looking for a Senior Project Architect to take a leading role in project delivery, client relationships and team growth. This is a key appointment for someone who wants real influence in a business on an upward trajectory, with technical knowledge and management skills.
The role:This role suits someone who enjoys balancing design excellence with technical delivery, mentoring teams and building trusted client relationships. As a Senior Project Architect, you will take ownership of projects both big and small from inception to completion, overseeing design, documentation, consultant coordination and client relationships with minimal oversight. Working closely with the Director, you'll help deliver successful projects, support business development, mentor the team and contribute to the ongoing growth of the practice.
What you’ll be doing:




Project leadership and delivery:• Lead and oversee architectural projects from early planning through delivery• Direct design strategy and ensure documentation quality and compliance• Manage project governance, approvals pathways and stakeholder engagement• Coordinate consultant teams and manage program, risk and deliverables• Lead BIM delivery, Revit documentation standards and consultant coordination across projects• Drive design quality from concept through delivery while balancing buildability, budget and client outcomes
Client leadership and business development:• Represent the practice with clients, authorities and delivery partners• Maintain and grow relationships across key sectors including Department of Housing & Works, Universities, Health and Education• Contribute to pursuits, panels, EOIs and tender responses• Defence experience is valued and will be viewed favourably
People leadership:• Foster an inclusive, collaborative and culturally respectful workplace aligned with Red Invest values• Lead, coach and mentor project teams• Build team capability and culture through strong day-to-day leadership• Support recruitment and onboarding as the studio grows• Contribute to continuous improvement of people, systems and standards• Work collaboratively with Indigenous designers, cultural advisors and community stakeholders to deliver culturally informed design outcomes
What we’re looking for:
Required:• Registered Architect• Senior Project Architect experience preferred; however, exceptional Project Architects with demonstrated capability and the potential to step into the role over time will also be considered• 10–15+ years’ experience,



including senior leadership on complex projects• Demonstrated capability leading multiple projects and teams concurrently• Strong technical documentation and construction knowledge• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence operating in government environments.• Advanced Revit capability• Deep understanding of NCC/BCA and consultant coordination• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Highly regarded:• Established networks and a strong track record working with Department of Housing & Works, Universities, Health and Education clients• Defence project experience and familiarity with associated governance and documentation expectations• Experience winning work, building client relationships and growing a team
