About the Role
Canberra Grammar School is seeking a creative and highly organised Engagement Officer to help tell the stories of our vibrant School community.
Working across stakeholder engagement, publications, internal communications and content creation, you will develop engaging material that strengthens connection with our students, families, colleagues, alumni and broader community.
You will also support enrolment marketing, brand awareness and major School initiatives by creating high-quality marketing assets, coordinating consistent messaging and helping deliver memorable events and campaigns.

About You
You are a creative and motivated communications professional who combines strong storytelling skills with excellent attention to detail. You enjoy building relationships, managing multiple priorities and contributing ideas that make a genuine impact.
You will bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, public relations, media, or a related field
- A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
- 3–5 years’ experience in a corporate or internal communications role
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences and purposes
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality communication outcomes
- Excellent organisational skills, including managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
- Strong digital literacy and understanding of current media, platforms, and analytics
- A proactive, future-focused mindset and ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans.
Desirable:
- Experience in independent schools, higher education, or the not-for-profit sector
- Familiarity with alumni engagement, philanthropy, and donor communications.

- Appropriate qualifications
- A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
- A current National Police Check
- Full working rights within Australia.
