About the role

Jaizy's Auto Electrical and Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled and fully qualified Auto Electrician to join our team in Longwarry, VIC. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable automotive electricians. As an Auto Electrician, you will be at the heart of our operations, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and air conditioning systems in vehicles. This role is crucial to delivering high-quality service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

- Diagnose electrical faults in vehicles using diagnostic equipment and systematic troubleshooting techniques

- Repair and replace faulty electrical components, including starters, alternators, batteries, wiring harnesses and lighting systems

- Service and maintain vehicle air conditioning systems, including refrigerant handling and component replacement

- Perform electrical testing and inspections to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards

- Install aftermarket electrical and air conditioning equipment, including alarm systems, audio systems climate control units, camera systems and more

- Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used and customer interactions

- Communicate effectively with customers regarding work required, timeframes

What we're looking for

- Completed apprenticeship in automotive electrical work





- Current automotive electrical qualifications and certification as required by Australian regulations

- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and electronic testing tools commonly used in automotive electrical work

- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, including charging, starting and lighting circuits

- Experience with air conditioning service and repair is highly desirable

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail when diagnosing complex electrical issues

- Robust communication skills and a customer-focused approach

- Ability to work independently

- A valid driver's licence is essential
