We are seeking a talented and design focused Structural Designer with a minimum of 4 years' commercial or industrial experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail and commitment to produce quality drawings. Must have solid construction knowledge combined with exceptional documentation experience using Autodesk Revit software.

Our company has established in-house Revit modelling capability with well developed standard details and a smooth workflow. Our container details are always growing and we can continuously developing and improving our systems. You will work with our current team of engineers and drafters and you will be liaising with external clients and consultants. Collaboration and coordination with external design team members and a helpful attitude are essential.

As a member of a small and supportive team, you will be working in a busy practice, located in Gold Coast's central hinterland suburb of Highland Park. Our business enjoys an ever-increasing stream of design & documentation work ranging from commercial, childcare, multi-residential, water treatment infrastructure, bridges and culverts and industrial projects.

In summary, the following skills are essential:

Minimum 4+ years structural design experience.

· Strong Autodesk Revit skills with emphasis placed on both ability and high productivity, to be able to prepare comprehensive sets of construction documents using this software

· Excellent AutoCAD skills

· Recent construction industry experience, preferably with independently leading and managing own projects

· A common sense approach,



robust time management skills with initiative and ability to problem solve with practical solutions

· Strong communication and comprehension skills - verbal and written

· Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality workmanship essential - MUST be a self starter who shows initiative

We work across many industries and sectors, and you will be expected to document structures ranging between typical residential timber framing and footings to commercial concrete and steel buildings. Tilt panel industrial and commercial buildings, analysis and design in steel, concrete, masonry, timber and aluminium. Experience in commercial construction and earth retaining structures is essential.
