As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Business Manager to lead our office operations and support the Directors in driving the business forward.

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position within the business, offering the opportunity to play a major role in our next phase of growth.

Reporting directly to the Directors, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office while ensuring our projects, people and processes run efficiently. You'll be the central point connecting our administration team, field technicians, customers and suppliers.

This is a role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving systems and making things happen.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations

- Oversee the daily operations of the business.

- Coordinate scheduling and mobilisation Teams

- Coordinate shutdown planning and labour allocation within the scheduling Team

- Support project delivery from quotation through to completion.

Business Administration

- Manage customer orders, purchase orders and job workflows.

- Oversee accounts receivable, invoicing and payment follow-ups.

- Monitor work in progress and ensure accurate job costing.

- Prepare reports and business information for management.

- Review and improve office systems and processes.

People & HR

- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding.

- Support performance management and staff development.

- Foster a positive, professional and cooperative workplace culture.

Customer & Supplier Management

- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

- Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained across the business.





- Support business development opportunities and client retention.

Leadership

- Lead and mentor the administration team.

- Work closely with the Directors to improve operational performance.

- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

- Help drive continuous improvement throughout the business.

About You:

You'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership and leading by example.

You'll ideally have:

- Proven experience in a Business Manager, Operations Manager, Office Manager or similar leadership role.

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Strong commercial awareness and sound business judgement.

- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.

- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.

- High attention to detail.

- Strong leadership and people management skills.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Commerce or a related discipline preferred.

- MBA or postgraduate qualifications in Business or Operations Management will be highly regarded.

- Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

Salary:

$100,000 + Super + Performance Bonus + Company Vehicle.
