The Role
You will be responsible for a combination of accounting, taxation, compliance and client advisory activities, including:
Preparing financial statements, financial reports and tax returnsManaging accounting and tax compliance requirements for a diverse client portfolioProviding technical and non-technical advice to clientsDeveloping and maintaining strong client relationshipsBuilding effective relationships with internal and external stakeholdersMentoring and developing junior accountantsWorking independently while contributing effectively within a cooperative teamSupporting clients with practical, commercially focused accounting advice
About You
The successful candidate will have:
An accounting-related degree3+ years of professional public practice accounting experience for Senior Accountant level7+ years of relevant experience for Manager levelCA/CPA qualified or nearing completionStrong understanding of accounting and taxation principlesProven experience preparing financial statements and tax returnsStrong client-facing and advisory capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage responsibilities independently while working effectively within a teamStrong relationship-building and stakeholder management skillsA proactive and professional approach to client service

Senior Accountant: Dependent on experience
Manager: Potential package around $170K + super for the right level of experience.
