About the Role
We are seeking a flexible and reliable Catering Assistant who will be responsible for preparing, cooking and delivering food and meals to our Aged Care residents. A friendly and welcoming demeanor is a must. There are multiple positions available at our Murray Bridge facility Romani.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, cooking and delivering food to a group of people according to set menus
- Supporting residents with special meals and dietary requirements
- Working with the management of the facility
- Promoting food and kitchen hygiene and safety practices, to ensure compliance requirements are met
- Monitoring temperature control checks for all meals, cool rooms and freezers
- Responsible for kitchen hygiene and cleanliness of the area
About You
- Demonstrated experience and a passion for working in Aged Care.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including Booster shot) and 2026 Seasonal Influenza vaccination
- Valuable understanding of food safety procedures
- NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain same
- Good communication skills
- Enjoy working in the evening
