Oz Wardrobes has built a strong reputation across South East Queensland for designing and installing premium custom wardrobes and cabinetry. Our continued growth has created an opportunity for an experienced installer to become part of our expanding Gold Coast team.
We specialise in medium to high-end residential cabinetry, delivering outstanding quality and customer service on every project.
The Role
You will be responsible for installing custom cabinetry including:
- Walk-in wardrobes
- Built-in wardrobes
- Linen cupboards
- Laundry cabinetry
- Home offices
- Entertainment units
- Custom storage solutions
The majority of your work will be throughout the Gold Coast, with occasional installations in Brisbane and Ipswich.

About You
You are someone who:
- Is a qualified Cabinet Maker
- Has extensive experience installing residential cabinetry
- Produces high-quality work with exceptional attention to detail
- Can confidently problem solve on site
- Works efficiently while maintaining a high standard of finish
- Can work unsupervised and manage your own day
- Is reliable, honest and professional
- Takes pride in customer service and presentation
- Is committed to getting the job right the first time
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Cabinet Maker
- Current Driver Licence
- White Card
- Ability to read plans and work independently
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Own trade tools
- Own reliable work vehicle
- ABN and appropriate insurances (or willingness to obtain)
Highly Regarded
- Experience supervising or mentoring a labourer or apprentice
- Experience installing premium custom cabinetry
- Ability to complete installations efficiently without compromising quality
Subcontractor
- Paid on a fixed percentage of each completed installation
- High earning potential of $150,000+ per year
- Consistent, ongoing work
