About the Business:

We are a well-established, busy stone fabrications business based in Adelaide, specialising in high-quality residential stone bench tops. We are looking for a skilled CNC/Bridge Saw Operator with AutoCAD and programming experience to join our close-knit factory team. Long-term opportunities are available for the right candidate.

The Role:

Your role is hands-on, wide-ranging position combining machine operation, technical drafting and programming - you will play a key part in turning job specifications into finished bench tops with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate CNC router and bridge saw for stone bench top fabrication

- Prepare DXF drawings in AutoCAD from site measurements and job sheets

- Program CNC jobs and manage cutting sequences for best material yield and accuracy

- Safety load, unload and handle large stone slabs

- Read and interpret technical drawings, cut lists and production schedules

- Perform basin machine setup, tool changes and routine daily maintenance

- Work closely with factory and installation teams to meet deadlines

What you bring:





- Experience operating CNC machines and/or bridge saws - stone industry experience is highly preferred

- Solid AutoCAD skills for drafting stone layouts and generating DXF files

- Ability to program CNC machinery, or strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team

- Forklift ticket is an advantage but not essential
