About the role

We are a growing company in the Pilbara servicing the mining industry on various job locations and sites throughout Western Australia. SRC Mechanical has been in business for over 10 years and has a great reputation with Employee's, Clients and Contractors.

We are looking for highly motivated Heavy Duty Mechanical Fitters to join the team.

The successful candidate will be supplied with a field service vehicle to carry out their work. The main responsibilities will be undertaking scheduled, preventative & breakdown maintenance across a variety of heavy earth moving equipment in a production mining environment.

Essential skills and qualifications:

- Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Certificate (Australian recognised)

- Australian Citizen / Full Australian Working Rights

- Valid C class driver's licence (HR advantageous)

- Experience with HD Mining Machinery

- Field Service Experience

- Have adequate tooling for a field service position

- Ability to work alone & unsupervised

- Highly motivated & displays great level of communication

- FIFO ex Perth or Karratha Resident
