General Purpose Delivering exceptional technical service and support within WA territory by providing on-site preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibration for HYTORC's market-leading product lines; acting as a skilled, customer-focused advocate for the HYTORC brand who ensures our tools operate at peak performance while upholding the highest safety and ISO quality standards; managing service schedules, responding to customer needs, and identifying opportunities to expand service offerings; and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships that support sales growth through technical consultation all under the general supervision of the Service Manager, while upholding HYTORC's reputation for reliability, quality, and innovation in industrial bolting solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Service Technicians perform onsite services; preventive maintenance, repair and calibration services for all HYTORC product lines in a timely effective manner.

- Maintain current customer service base and provide technical consultation and address concerns.

- Complete accurate work orders, submit documents and calibration certificates to service administrator.

- Adhere to company standard operating procedures, safety standards,



ISO quality policies.

- Maintain HYTORC demo, hire, and loan equipment in your region.

- Maintain spare parts inventory and supplies at adequate levels for regional service needs

- Maintain schedule with respect to daily activities and ancillary assignments as directed by the Service manager.

- Strive to meet goals and Key Performance Indicators as outlined by the Service Manager.

- Provide support to HYTORC Sales Managers as needed for identifying sales opportunities.

- Assist in familiarizing and training customers on tool operation and maintenance as needed.

- Check tools for safety decals and safe operating features and maintain accurate schedule and record of maintenance.

- Demonstrate excellent customer service by communication and interactions in a positive and professional manner.

- Identify workplace hazards/unsafe conditions and take appropriate action to correct.

- Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.

- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships in the course of work day.

- Use hand and power tools skilfully and safely.

- Self-motivated and driven to succeed.

- High level of self-organisation and ability to work autonomously.

- Work effectively in a fast paced environment, while maintaining workloads.

Certificates and License

- 2+ years of skilled hands-on mechanical/technical experience

Desirable

- Mechanical Fitter lll trade certificate or any similar trade qualification will be considered.

Computer Skills Necessary

- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and general navigation of computer.

Physical Demands/Requirements

- Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, reaching.

- Ability to routinely lift 10 to 35 kilograms without assistance. Perform general physical tasks.
