About the role...

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Garden Team Leader to join Weeding Women now. This is a part time position that offers the perfect opportunity to lead a dedicated gardening team whilst maintaining flexibility and security in your work life. As Garden Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily garden maintenance and landscaping operations, ensuring that all projects meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role is crucial to our success, as you will be the driving force behind our team's performance and the face of Weeding Women to the public and our valued and loyal clients.

Key responsibilities...

- Supervising and coordinating the garden team to ensure all garden maintenance projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.

- Planning schedule of daily garden maintenance tasks and landscaping work across multiple client sites.

- Conducting site inspections to monitor project progress, safety and quality of workmanship.

- Training and mentoring gardening team members on standard best practice, safety procedures and equipment use.

- Managing client relationships and addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.

- Entering accurate data and recording completed work, hours, recommendations, quotes and materials used into Salesforce Mobile at end of every job.

- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on all job sites.

- Communicating effectively with Support Team regarding project updates and team performance.

- Attend Team Leader meetings and training sessions.





- Identifying opportunities for operational improvements and roll out of any promotional activities.

Our successful applicant will ideally have...

- Demonstrated experience working in gardening, landscaping or horticulture, preferably in a supervisory or team leader capacity.

- Strong knowledge of garden maintenance techniques, plant care, and seasonal gardening practices.

- Experience estimating, quoting and/or invoicing in a remote, multi-site work environment.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills and desire to motivate and inspire a diverse, mostly female team.

- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities, with a friendly and professional approach to all client interactions.

- Proficiency & knowledge in operating all gardening and landscaping equipment safely and effectively.

- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to outdoor work and gardening operations

- Impeccable record of reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic

- A commitment to delivering quality results every time and exceeding expectations.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to varying weather conditions and project challenges

- High resilience, stamina and fitness to work in the garden for up to 7 hours a day in all weather.

- A valid drivers licence,



your own mobile phone and access to email and internet.
