This is an opportunity to lead projects, influence design outcomes, mentor developing engineers and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Your technical expertise and leadership will directly contribute to project success and the continued growth of our Adelaide team.

Your role will include, but will not be limited to:

- Delivering high quality and innovative structural designs and documentation for building structures with medium to large complexity, such as architecturally designed houses, and associated facilities and light commercial buildings.
- Running projects from concept design to construction within budget and delivery time frame, with supports from experienced and collaborative teams.
- Assist in client management with existing clients and other relevant project stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
- Assist in developing graduate/junior engineers within team in alignment with company goals, procedures and strategy.
- Cultivating a sense of client focus in your team's everyday approach to their work, in particular with a sense of responsiveness, delivery on time, and professionalism.

You will need to have:

- A minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution
- 5+ years post-grad structural design experience in residential or building industry.
- Experience in the design of residential/low rise structural buildings.




- Experience in design using timber structures, reinforced concrete, steel structures, and designs of waffle, raft, suspended slab, retaining walls etc
- Proficient in the use of engineering design software tools such as Space Gass, Toolkit
- An ability to build rapport with clients and project stakeholders
- Advanced ability to interpret the requirements of Australian standards and building codes, design in accordance with AS2870, AS1684, AS1170, AS3600, AS4100, NCC etc.
