About the role

KAEFER has exciting opportunities for experienced S26 Mechanical Supervisors, S26 Electrical Supervisors, and Superintendents to join a major project in the Pilbara region with a Tier 1 mining client.

Working on an 8/6 roster with Perth as the point of hire, these leadership positions will play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes. You will provide technical expertise, operational oversight, and leadership across multiple work fronts while contributing to a high-performance culture focused on safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

S26 Mechanical & Electrical Supervisors

- Lead and oversee mechanical or electrical activities across the project.

- Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with KAEFER's Health and Safety Policy.

- Coordinate labour, equipment, resources, and daily work schedules to achieve project targets.

- Supervise site operations, subcontractors, compliance requirements, and quality outcomes.

- Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to frontline employees.

- Monitor project progress and ensure accurate reporting of work performance.

- Drive productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Build strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

- Ensure efficient utilisation of direct labour and project resources.

Superintendents

- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction across multiple work fronts and disciplines.

- Manage supervisors, project teams, subcontractors, and operational resources to deliver project objectives.

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.





- Lead project planning, scheduling, reporting, and performance management activities.

- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Manage stakeholder and client relationships at a senior level.

- Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

- Support workforce development through mentoring and leadership coaching.

What we're looking for

For S26 Mechanical/Electrical Supervisors

- Mechanical / Electrical Trade Qualification (Certificate III) – mandatory.

- Current Section 26 (S26) qualification.

- Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience in mechanical/Electrical maintenance, shutdowns, construction, or heavy industry.

- Strong understanding of electrical safety requirements and compliance standards.

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Current C Class Driver's Licence.

- SAP or CMMS experience highly regarded.

For Superintendents

- Relevant trade qualification, engineering qualification, or equivalent industry experience.

- Demonstrated experience in Superintendent, Senior Supervisor, or similar leadership roles within mining, shutdowns, maintenance, construction, or heavy industry.

- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and complex project activities.





- Robust commercial awareness and client-facing experience.

- Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Current C Class Driver's Licence.
