About Us
At Holistic Therapy & Consulting (HolTAC), we believe every person deserves to be heard, valued, and supported. Our mission is to deliver inclusive, evidence-based allied health, peer mentoring, and professional consulting services that celebrate neurodiversity and uphold human rights.
We work beyond the therapy setting, offering training, mentoring, and consultation to build capacity across communities. Guided by a neuroaffirming, human rights, and person-centred approach, we aim to create spaces where clients and clinicians can thrive.
Our growing multidisciplinary team includes Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants, and peer mentors. We're committed to professional growth, wellbeing, and genuine work–life balance.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Speech Pathologist to step into a Senior SP position, covering maternity leave from November. This is a fixed-term position, with the possibility of an ongoing permanent role for the right candidate.
You'll support and mentor other clinicians while holding your own caseload, with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the vision and goals of the company.
Your role will include:

- Offering guidance and support across the team, acting as a point of escalation and support for clinical and case-related questions
- Contributing meaningfully to the vision and goals of HolTAC
- Leading and supporting our student placement program
- Helping devise, expand,
and deliver our consultancy and training programs to families, professionals, and the broader community
- Conducting your own speech pathology assessments and delivering individualised therapy within a holistic, neuroaffirming framework
- Collaborating closely with our interdisciplinary team on shared clients, projects, and goals
- Leading and participating in case discussions, professional development, and team events
- Working in a community-based model, with flexibility to shape your caseload around your interests
What We Offer
- Flexible full-time or part-time arrangements
- No KPI pressure
- Full admin support for scheduling and caseload management
- Structured burnout prevention planning to maintain sustainable workloads
- A dedicated career development budget and planning to suit your goals
- Regular supervision and mentoring from senior clinicians (and the opportunity to shape this for others)
- Genuine input into the direction of our consultancy and training offerings
- Technology and resources provided - iPad, phone, and laptop for work use, plus any resources you need
- Quarterly team PD days
- Travel Reimbursement
- Weekly team collaboration and dedicated admin days every Friday
- A genuinely supportive and cooperative team culture
- Commitment to workplace accommodations to ensure inclusivity
About You
You'll be a great fit if you:
- Hold a recognised degree in Speech Pathology (Bachelors or Masters)
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience as a practising Speech Pathologist
- Are eligible for SPA membership
- Have experience supervising, mentoring, or leading other clinicians
- Have experience and/or a genuine interest in AAC, and working with non-speaking, minimally speaking, or part-time AAC users, across both adults and children
- Share our commitment to neuroaffirming, human rights, and person-centred practice, with an openness to continued learning and reflection
- Are interested in working within a collaborative model of support
- Value collaboration and open communication
- Are curious, reflective, and passionate about lifelong learning
- Enjoy working flexibly in community-based settings
