- Strategy Ownership: Developing, refining, and maintaining long-term fixed plant maintenance strategies to maximize operational uptime.

- Risk Mitigation: Actively monitoring asset data and predictive health metrics to catch and manage reliability risks before they cause unplanned downtime.

- Root Cause Analysis: Leading formal RCA processes and defect elimination initiatives to solve chronic engineering challenges.

- Program Optimization: Continuously reviewing preventative maintenance (PM) plans and asset health strategies to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

- Stakeholder & Technical Coaching: Partnering with cross-functional teams and providing mentorship to junior engineers and technical personnel on site.

Candidate Profile: Skills & Experience Required

- Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent tertiary qualification).

- Mining Expertise: Extensive, proven engineering experience within the mining/resources sector, specifically focused on the reliability and maintenance of crushing, conveying, and material handling equipment.

- Reliability Knowledge: A deep understanding of Reliability Engineering systems, principles (e.g., RCM, FMEA), and industry best practices.

- Systems Proficiency: Robust working knowledge of SAP PM, master data, and building out maintenance strategies.

- Technical Toolkit: Solid experience with fixed plant environments and condition monitoring methodologies.

- Soft Skills: High-level analytical capabilities, robust problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively coach technical teams.

Desirable Attributes (High Advantage):

- A broader exposure to diverse fixed plant infrastructure beyond materials handling.

- Hands-on experience with SAP project roll-outs or system transitions.

- Formal qualifications or certifications in Condition Monitoring techniques.

What’s in it for you?

- Immediate Mobilization: Secure a contract quickly with a prestigious client.

- Unique Roster: A balanced FIFO schedule designed to offer excellent time at home.

- Full Support: All flights, camp accommodation, and site travel are fully covered by our client.
