Mount Barker District Council is seeking an administration professional for our Business Support Officer (Public Safety) role. In this position, you’ll primarily assist the Public Safety team in delivering essential services across animal management, outdoor dining, fire prevention, parking and expiation notices, while providing a responsive and professional experience for customers and colleagues. You’ll keep key registers accurate, administer requests to waive expiation notices and help our officers provide productive, high-quality service every day.

Our ideal candidate will be proficient at providing excellent customer service to a range of internal and external stakeholders,



backed by considerable demonstrated experience in providing a range of administrative and research support services under minimal supervision.

A certificate level qualification in Business Administration or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
