Take a step inside the world of Postal Mail. Bing Technologies is seeking a Full Time Senior Operator to join our team. Reporting to the National Production Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the day-to-day operation of our production facility. This hands-on position combines technical aptitude, people leadership and production coordination to ensure work is completed safely, accurately and on time.
You will support and mentor a Production Operator while ensuring our production equipment and processes continue to operate efficiently.

About the role
As our Senior Production Operator, you will:
- Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of Production Operators.
- Provide training, guidance and ongoing support to team members.
- Escalate production issues promptly to the Production Management team.
- Operate, monitor and maintain digital production printers.
- Load and replenish paper and consumables to minimise machine downtime.
- Maintain high print quality standards through regular quality checks.
- Operate mailing inserter equipment efficiently and accurately (full training provided).
- Ensure C4 mail jobs are processed and verified in accordance with company procedures.
- Process return mail within required timeframes.
- Complete general warehouse duties including pallet jack and electric walkie stacker operation.
- Ensure all customer work is dispatched daily and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved.
- Minimise stock waste and production spoilage.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and arrange maintenance where required.
- Monitor production reporting and complete daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements.
- Maintain stock levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Keep the production facility clean, organised and secure.
- Complete production documentation and system records accurately.
- Report workplace hazards and incidents in accordance with company procedures.

About You
- Previous experience in a print, mail, manufacturing or production environment desirable but not essential.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
- Robust communication skills.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- A positive, respectful and professional attitude.
- The ability to work independently while also leading a collaborative team.
- Active and fit, ability to stand on feet for lengthy periods as well as lifting up to 15kgs.
- Ability to use a pallet jack and walkie stacker preferred but full training will be provided.
